FAQs
The initials stand for Planned Unit Development. Intended as an alternative to normal residential zoning ordinances, a PUD neighborhood is considered by many to have a better look and feel than normal 'zoned' subdivisions. A non row-house approach that many cities tend to like but developers often don't like because of the reduced sales yield. Like Cross Creek, most PUD's will typically have curved streets and varied types, sizes, and styles of residences. At least 30% of Cross Creek land will not be developed into residences at all, and will be home to the pool, pavilion, ponds, activity field, trails, and natural areas.
